The basic idea of the interior decoration of Best Western Plus John Bauer Hotel suites is to use an understated elegance inside to promote the stunning views outside. To avoid competing with those views we have chosen a range of soft, natural colors ranging in nuances and tones of cream, gray and black. Warm and cool hues mix to create a congenial elegance along with contrasting materials of both matte and glossy finish. Metals, such as brass and copper, provides a glamorous feel in combination with massive, black wenge wood in all of the exclusively designed furniture.
The layout is planned based on the concept that you have total privacy whilst in a hotel room. Therefore only the lavatory is a secluded room. To wash up, put on your make-up, take a shower or have a bath, you should not have to lock yourself in and occupy a bathroom for a long time. Therefore, the double basins and the bathtub are situated in the open spa-areas that is only separated by a different flooring of matte finished tiles. These meet the softer bedroom area covered with a wall to wall carpet. In the bathtub you can take a snug bath with delicate drapes around and still experience the spaciousness of the room. In the grandest suite there is a sauna located in such a way as to provide a most stunning view over the lake Munksjon with its bridge. All suites are equipped with a minibar, built in hair dryer and ironing board. Desks with inset wheels are located at the foot of the bed and can be positioned for work or breakfast in bed.
One of the junior suites is also designed to fit people with disabilities.
